Since 1889, five generations of the Valdemar Family have produced some of the finest wines from Rioja. It was Joaquín Martínez Bujanda who started the company with 10 hectares of vines in Rioja Alavesa and over the years the estate has expanded to include some of the best vineyards across the region. Grenache wines, also known as Garnacha, are versatile with reds offering red and black fruit flavors and whites providing stone fruit and citrus aromas. Red Grenache wines are medium to full-bodied with moderate tannins, while white Grenache wines are medium-bodied with good acidity. They pair well with various dishes and some red Grenache wines can age gracefully.
