Brilliant garnet-red colour. The nose shows nice fresh red fruit aromas of cherry and Morello cherry, supported by spicy notes of clove and pepper. Great intensity in the mouth, balanced with freshness. The finish is long with a salty touch.

Château de Chamirey overlooks the village of Chamirey and was built in the 18th century. Built in early XVIII Century, Château de Chamirey is an elegant château, influenced by the Italian architecture, looking down on French garden. Built on a rocky headland, Château de Chamirey has a unqiue position on Mercurey vineyard. Erected in early XVIII Century, the present appearance of the Château de Chamirey is due to the towers that have been built at the end of the XVIII Century, after a fire destroyed the adjacent chapel. At that time, Dupaty de Clam family sells the property to Marquis de Jouennes d'Herville family.
Pinot Noir Wine

Pinot Noir is a red wine grape variety that is known for its delicate and nuanced character. The grape is relatively difficult to grow, but when it is grown in the right conditions, it produces some of the finest and most sought-after wines in the world. Pinot Noir wines are known for their complexity and a wide range of flavors and aromas, which are often described as being "red" or "dark" fruit flavors such as cherry, strawberry, and raspberry, as well as earthy, spicy, and floral notes.
Pinot Noir wines tend to be light- to medium-bodied with a delicate structure and a moderate level of tannins and acidity. The flavor profile of Pinot Noir wines can vary greatly depending on where it is grown, for example, Pinot Noir from Burgundy, France, tends to be elegant and nuanced, with a focus on red fruit and floral notes, while Pinot Noir from Oregon and California tends to be more full-bodied and have a higher proportion of dark fruit flavors.
Pinot Noir is a wine that pairs well with a wide range of foods, particularly poultry, duck, pork and mushroom-based dishes. Due to its delicate character, it's often recommended to serve it slightly chilled to enhance its fruit and floral aromas, and to avoid overpowering the wine with strong or spicy foods.
