Founded in 1989, Corte Giara is a project between the Allegrini family and a select group of the finest growers in the Valpolicella region to produce modern wines with an international approach while still respecting the history and tradition of their famous wine region. The 33 hectare estate is located at Cavaion Veronese in the Bardolino Classico DOC and a range of wines are produced from local and international grape varieties including Pinot Grigio, Soave and Bardolino. The packaging is modern and stylish, the wines pure, fresh and full of character and Corte Giara has quickly made a name for itself for the quality of its wines.

Molinara wines originate from the Veneto region of northeastern Italy, where the Molinara grape historically played a significant role in the production of Valpolicella and Bardolino wines. While once a predominant grape in these blends, Molinara's presence has diminished over time, and it is now used in smaller quantities due to its relatively neutral character and low acidity. Molinara is often valued for its ability to add softness and elegance to blends, contributing subtle fruit flavors and floral aromatics.

Typically, Molinara wines exhibit a pale ruby color and offer delicate aromas of red berries, dried flowers, and herbs, with hints of almond and spice. On the palate, these wines are characterized by their light to medium-bodied texture, soft tannins, and refreshing acidity, with flavors of raspberry, cherry, and a touch of bitterness. Molinara's subtle profile makes it a versatile component in blends, enhancing the overall harmony and complexity without overpowering other grape varieties.
