A pale yellow colour, its aromas are rich in flowers, such as hawthorn and jasmine, green apple and almond. On the palate it shows a clear mineral freshness and a strong flavour. Really good as an aperitif accompanied by Parma ham and fresh cheeses, or with pasta dishes, risotto with lake fish and soups of fresh vegetables.

Located in the heart of the Soave Classico DOC near Verona, Cantine Pra is run by brothers Sergio and Graziano Pra, the former tending the estates 25 hectares of vineyards and the latter in charge of the cantine. The Pra range of wines are considered to be one of the benchmarks for the region including the Soave Classico, an un-oaked Soave Classico Superiore, Monte Grande, the barrique aged Soave Classico Colle Sant' Antonio and a stunning Recioto di Soave Classico. A producer that is totally in tune with their terroir and what the varieties Garganega and Trebbiano are capable of delivering in the glass.

Garganega wines, prominently represented by the famed Soave appellation in Italy's Veneto region, epitomize elegance and versatility in the world of white wines. Crafted predominantly from the Garganega grape, these wines offer a delicate yet complex flavor profile, often showcasing notes of white peach, citrus fruits, and subtle floral and almond undertones. What distinguishes Garganega wines, particularly those from Soave, is their refreshing acidity and gentle minerality, which provide structure and brightness to the palate, making them incredibly enjoyable on their own or paired with a variety of dishes.
Soave wines, in particular, range from youthful and vibrant expressions to more structured and age-worthy varieties, reflecting the diverse terroir of the region and the skill of its winemakers. Their light to medium-bodied nature and silky texture make them a versatile companion for a plethora of cuisines, including seafood, salads, poultry, and creamy pasta dishes. With their ability to harmonize effortlessly with a wide range of flavors, Garganega wines have rightfully earned their place as beloved classics among white wine enthusiasts, offering a taste of Italian craftsmanship and terroir in every glass.
