Their vineyards lie on the steep slopes of the region, one in particular, the Feldmarschell von Fenner Müller Thurgau is at 1000 metres above sea-level, and is trellised with the local pergola and wine frame methods. The winery is located in Entiklar, a hamlet of Kurtatsch and the estate consistently wins many awards in Italy's most famous wine guide, the Gambero Rosso.

Lagrein wines hail from the Trentino-Alto Adige region of northern Italy, particularly in the Alto Adige DOC and Trentino DOC appellations. Lagrein is a native grape variety of this region, known for producing deeply colored and full-bodied red wines. Lagrein wines are esteemed for their intense flavors, firm tannins, and distinctively aromatic profile, which reflects the unique terroir of the Alpine valleys where the grapes are cultivated.
Typically, Lagrein wines exhibit a deep garnet color and offer complex aromas of dark berries, cherries, violets, and spices, with hints of earth and minerals. On the palate, these wines are characterized by their robust structure, velvety texture, and vibrant acidity, with flavors of blackberry, plum, and dark chocolate. Lagrein's versatility allows it to be enjoyed both as a young, fruit-forward wine and as a more complex and age-worthy expression with additional bottle aging. Whether enjoyed on its own or paired with hearty meat dishes, Lagrein wines offer a compelling representation of Trentino-Alto Adige's winemaking heritage and the Alpine terroir.
